Why Feudalism Developed
Feudalism developed because the invaders followed no laws and Charlemagne wasn't happy with it. Charlemagne eventually came up with the idea of feudalism. I think that the feudal system was a good system because Lords were giving land to people and the people were giving them something back, which was there loyalty. Everybody was paying back for what they should.
Code of Chivalry
In the Middle Ages, the knights had to follow a certain code, and that was the code of Chivalry. The knights had to follow this code because it says how to fight and be a good leader of that manor. Also, people are depending on the knights to protect their manor, so they should fight the correct way, and show respect toward others.

Japan and Europe Feudalism
Japan and Europe feudal systems were alike, but also different in ways. One way that they are different is that the European Knights owned land, and the Japanese Bushido could not. Another reason why they are different is that the European feudal system was established in about 800 B.C. while the Japanese feudal system was established in 1100 B.C. One last reason the European and the Japanese feudal systems are different is because Europe was based off of the Roman Imperial Laws, while Japanese were based off of a philosopher, named Kong Qui.
